A real storyteller, Kevin realised he was Dyslexic when he was in his twenties.

‘I had always struggled with the written word and was a very slow reader but I loved stories so much, and would hide under the bed sheets at night with my torch, reading books and comics, whilst listening to Radio Caroline.’

Self-doubt subsequently delayed the publishing of his projects for many years.

‘ I had a dreadful experience as a child. I was made to stand at the blackboard in front of the whole class and subsequently humiliated, by a horrible old man who called himself a teacher. Dyslexia was not diagnosed as a learning disorder in those days, and so, I was branded as: ‘Stupid and Lazy’, and shamed by being forced to sit in the corner of the classroom, with my face to the wall. It is not an experience you ever forget.’

Kevin is now a #1 Best Selling Amazon author.

'The name Kado came about when he was a senior lecturer. The College issued a directory of all personnel, with the usual acronyms. We couldn’t find him in it. When we did, his name was under the wrong initials, and so he became known as Kado ~ pronounced in the manner of the character in the Clouseau movies ~ ‘Kato.’
